One of our clients using Windows XP SP3 kept receiving this error when using a redirected printer in Remote Desktop:
"Windows Presentation Foundation Terminal Server Print W has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost. Please tell Microsoft about this problem."
We located a few solutions, however we resolved the issue by installing the hot fix from KB 946411. Please note, you may need to call MS for this one as it was not available for download from the web site.
